Treatment for Insomnia using Hypnotherapy, CBT and NLP
Treatment for Insomnia using Hypnotherapy:
Insomnia and disrupted sleep patterns can leave you feeling fed up, grumpy or anxious. When we can’t sleep, it’s common to feel tired during the day too. Concentrating on work becomes a struggle and even small things can feel a big irritation. Insomnia may be the by-product of work or home stress, a medical condition, alcohol or drug use or other lifestyle habits or choices. For many it’s falling asleep that is difficult. For others it’s staying asleep. Some people will find it hard to wake up in the morning and feel refreshed and awake. Treatment for insomnia will look at the causes of your poor sleep.

Helping you sleep better
Treatment of insomnia involves examining what is preventing the achievement of a high quality night’s sleep. When you can’t sleep, this may be the result of a generally unsettled or busy mind. You may also have work stress, worries about the future, anxiety and depression or physical factors such as hormone changes or a medical condition. Someone with ADHD or IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) may find a good night’s sleep eludes them too.
An area we consider is what is referred to as ‘sleep hygiene’. Sleep hygiene includes factors, during the day, which support good quality sleep at night. These factors can be easy to change, such as too much caffeine, noise, or uncertainty or changes in your daily life.
Deep Dive sessions are affective at reducing insomnia because both the conscious and subconscious parts of the mind are engaged. Hypnotherapy and NLP address subconscious patterns while coaching and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) address the more rational and conscious thought patterns around why an individual feels they can’t sleep at night.
During sessions we look at the root causes of insomnia. We aim to help you reset your natural sleep rhythms, so a more refreshing and rejuvenating sleep pattern is implemented. Sessions will help you feel much more relaxed, calmer and more positive about life challenges also.
